Nerys Warner (nee Williams)
Senior Chartered Physiotherapist
Nerys Warner (nee Williams) qualified in 1999 from Kings College, University of London with a BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy.
Following graduation Nerys undertook all major physiotherapy rotations at Epson and St Helier, covering outpatients, orthopaedics and respiratory care, medical, surgical wards and intensive care. This provided her with a sound foundation upon which to build her expertise.
Nerys had a senior role specialising in NMSK Physiotherapy outpatients and orthopaedics. She then took on a senior role at Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon co-ordinatin the in-patient team alongside out-patient physiotherapy work. Nerys also developed her skills in hydrotherapy, which she continues to use at Active VIII.
Nerys has also worked as a senior physiotherapist at Southend and Sidcup Hospital NHS trusts. She went on to further enhance her NMSK skills at a private practice in Croyden before moving to Henley and joining the team at Active VIII in 2006.
Nerys has competed at National and International level in the sport of Motorcross for the past 20 years.
She has also worked as a sports physiotherapist on-site at Great Britain and Grand Prix level motorcross events.
In addition to her BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, Nerys has attended a vast number of post-graduate courses through her career and continues to do so. These courses have kept her abreast with current research and enabled to further advance her skills in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy, pilates and rehabilitation.
