After breaking my ankle in the South African Otter Trail Race 2011, the team at Active VIII provided exemplary bio-mechanical analysis, rehabilitation and physiotherapy treatment. This also included liaising with the consultant surgeon and organising an MRI scan within days of my return to the UK.

Alex aims to raise over £1 million from his 10 million metre campaign, which is to go towards funding research into finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease. The Cure Parkinson's Trust is currently working on research projects to which some of these funds will be donated.
